            The case was posted today for compliance of order dated 24.11.2015. This Forum sent notice to the advocate for complainant vide this Office Letter No. 540 dt.1.12.2015 as well as to the complainant vide this office letter Memo No. 457 dt.22.6.2016 respectively for furnishing extra copies of complaint petition and annexure/documents if any. Neither the complainant nor his advocate found present on repeated calls nor also filed any steps to adjourn the case. On perusal of case record it is found that after admission of the case the complainant and his advocate have not filed steps since 20.3.2014. Sufficient time has been allowed for compliance of the order. The complainant failed to perform his obligatory duty to remain present at the time of hearing as required under Rule 4 sub Rule 8 of the Odisha Consumer Protection Rules, 1987.

            In the result we dismissed the complaint for default of appearance.
