ORDER

Present:        Sh. Mahender Singh Khatri, Advocate for the complainant.

                              Sh. Satender Ghanghas, Advocate for OP .

 

           Case file taken up today on the application moved by counsel for both the parties. Learend counsel for the OP has made a statement that the matter has been compromised and the insurance company is ready to make the payment of Rs. 19,000/-(Ninteen Thousand Only) towards full and final settlement of the claim of the complainant. He further stated that the aforesaid amount shall be paid by the Insurance company within 30 days. Counsel for the Complainant has also made a statement that he has heard the statement of learned counsel for the OP and agree with the same. Statement to this effect recorded separately.

In view of the statement made by the parties, the present complaint is disposed off with the direction the HDFC ERGO General insurance company shall make the payment of Rs. 19,000/- within 30 days from the date of passing of the order, if the insurance company fails to make the payment of aforesaid amount within 30 days, the insurance company shall be liable to pay interest @9% per annum from the date of filing of complaint till payment. Complaint stands disposed off accordingly. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. Copy of order be supplied to the parties free of cost.
