This complaint has been filed by the complainant against the opposite parties 1 & 2 under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 prays the 1st opposite party to pay a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- towards the policy coverage payable for critical illness and credit shield insurance as per the SARV SURAKSHA PLUS POLICY, vide policy No.2950 2012 8694 7200 000 with interest at the rate of 24% from the date of overdue till the date of payment, to direct the 2nd opposite party to refund the sum of Rs.47,134/- which was usurped by way of clearing of ECS for unpaid EMIs due and payable subsequent to the death of the insured E. Yagnaprabha during the existence of insurance policy and to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- towards compensation for causing severe hardship and mental agony  caused to the complainant and his family members on account of callousness attitude, unfair trade practice and deficiency in service etc with cost to the complainant.

The complainant’s Counsel made an endorsement in the return Memo and today in this complaint.  In view of the endorsement, this complaint is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file fresh complaint on the same cause of action.
