Sourabh Kumar Vs. HDFC ERGO

 

Present:       Complainant Sourabh  with Sh. Pardeep Rathore, Adv.

                    Sh. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Adv. for the respondent.

 

ORDER:-

                  

1.              On the intervention of the commission, parties entered into amicably settlement and counsel for the respondent on behalf of the respondent, offered payment of Rs.76,500/- to the complainant, within 60 days as full and final settlement of the matter. The proposal made on behalf of the respondent is accepted by the counsel for the complainant on behalf of the complainant. Statement of counsel for the respondent and counsel for the complainant recorded.

2.              Without passing any adverse comment, on either of the parties, matter being amicably settled and complaint is accepted against the respondent, holding it liable to make the payment of Rs.76,500/- as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of two months (60 days) from today, in default of it, respondent shall be liable to pay simple interest @ 8 % p.a., on the amount of Rs.76,500/- from the date of order, till actual payment. Certified copy of the order be supplied to the parties, free of cost.

3.               File be consigned to the records.
