Complaint under section-12 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986

Now  amended  Section 34 of Consumer protection Act 2019.

                             Sh.  D.K.Gosain , counsel for opposite party.

ORDER:  

                             Today the case  was fixed for filing evidence of opposite party.

                             Instead of filing evidence on behalf of opposite party, Shri

D.K.Gosain, counsel for the opposite party has made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of insurance company, am ready to settle the matter for Rs.60,000/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter.  A period of 60 days may kindly be granted to make the payment of said settlement amount by the insurance company.”

                             On the other hand, Shri Naresh Vashishtha, counsel for the complainant has made a statement “I have heard the statement of counsel for OP and ready to settle the matter for Rs.60,000/- on behalf of complainant , as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant. Order may be passed accordingly.”

                             On the basis of the statement of the counsel for the complainant, the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite  party to pay Rs.60,000/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant within 30 days from the date of this order. There are no orders as to costs.    Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs.  File be consigned to the record room.
