Surinder Syal wife of late Sh. Rajesh Sehgal, resident of house no.405-A old ramesh nagar, Karnal, tehsil and district Karnal.

  1. HDFC Ergo Genernal Insurance Company Limited, registered & corporate office, 1st floor 165-166, backbay reclamation HT Parekh marg, Churchgate, Mumbai-400020 through its authorized signatory.
  2. HDFC Ergo Genernal Insurance Company Limited, SCO no.237, 2nd floor behind mini Secretariat, sector-12, Karnal through its Branch Manager.
  3. HDFC Bank Ltd., SCO no.2-3, HUDA market, first floor, sector-8 UE, Karnal through its Branch Manager.

                Sh. Sanjeev Vohra, counsel for the OP-1 & 2.

                Sh. Amit Munjal, counsel for the OP-3.

 

         File taken up today on the application moved by the learned counsel for the parties for withdraw the present complaint.

                Learned counsel for the OP-1 & 2 has suffered a separate statement that the matter has been compromised, and the company is ready to pay Rs.5,00000/- (five lakhs) as full and final settlement in accidental death claim and as well as another sum of Rs.1,60,000/- in credit shield loan account as full and final settlement. If any amount exceeding Rs.1,60,000/- in loan account remains outstanding then the same shall be payable by the complainant and insurance company has no liability to pay outstanding balance, if any, in the loan account. Insurance company will pay the aforesaid amount within 45 days from the date of order of Hon’ble Commission.

    On the other hand, complainant his suffered separate statement to the effect that the matter has been compromised with the OP-1 & 2, he withdraws the present complaint being fully satisfied.

              In view of the above statements, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn. Both parties are bound the statement of their respective counsels. Parties concerned be communicated of the order accordingly and file be consigned to the record room.
