AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 08.11.2023, Ms.Shruti Sharma, Counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the complainant will approach the OPs for revival of the subject policy and deposit the premium as well as requisite documents with the OPs such as crossed cheque alongwith PAN Card and thereafter the OPs will simultaneously reimburse the principal amount of Rs.1,56,840/- to the complainant. It has been further stated by counsel for OPs that this procedure will be complied with within two weeks from 08.11.2023 and the complainant has the opportunity to lodge the claim for the lapsed period, if any. Vide his separate statement recorded on 08.11.2023, Sh.Vikram Tandon, Counsel for Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OPs and the prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement in National Lok Adalat.

2.   In view of the statements made by the counsels for the parties, the complaint is disposed of being settled. The parties shall be bound by their statements made on 08.11.2023. The award is accordingly passed.

3.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
