Present:       Sh.Mahinder Singh Vander, complainant in person alongwith

counsel Sh.R.K Sachdeva.

           Sh.Rattan Lal Khunger, counsel for opposite party No.1.

           Sh.Harish Chawla, counsel for opposite party No.2.


 

    The complainant has filed the present complaint claiming a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- alongwith interest and compensation from opposite parties.

However, Sh.Harish Chawla, counsel for opposite party No.2 has suffered statement to the effect that as per instructions of his client, he offer to pay a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- in full and final settlement of all the claims and demands of the complainant in the present complaint. The bank details/NEFT details alongwith Aadhaar card and PAN card of the complainant have been received today from the counsel for complainant and payment shall be made within a period of 30 days.

The complainant Mahinder Singh Vander alongwith his counsel Sh.R.K Sachdeva has also suffered a statement that he accepts the abovesaid offer given by opposite party No.2. Therefore, this complaint may be disposed off accordingly.

In view of the statements made by counsel for opposite party No.2 and complainant, the present complaint is disposed off with a direction to opposite party No.2 to pay a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- to the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, failing which the awarded amount of Rs.1,25,000/- shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from 27.07.2021 i.e. date of first premium receipt of the policy in question till actual realization. Certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs as per rules. File be indexed and consigned to the record room.
