Shamshad Ali           Vs.     HDB Financial Services Ltd.

                   Notice of application dated 19.12.2022 served upon Sh. Jasbir Singh Rana, Adv. for the respondents. He appeared before this Commission and endorsed his no objection report on the application. One Shamshad and Aarif filed Consumer Complaint before this Commission on 04.02.2022, titled Shamshad Vs. HDB Financial Services Ltd. and another. It was decided by this Commission vide order dated 31.05.2022 and in order to do the compliance of order, the respondents/respondent No.1 deposited the award amount in the office of this Commission. Consequently, a cheque dated 12.11.2022 was issued in the name of Shamshad S/o Jameel in the sum of Rs.44,500/-. However, the same has not been honoured, because in fact, actual name of complainant No.1 Shamshad is Shamshad Ali, so the bank has not honoured the cheque, because in the bank account, his name is Shamshad Ali. Alongwith the application, complainant No.1 has also attached his Aadhar Card which also shows his name is Shamshad Ali. The application is accepted and necessary correction is hereby done in the original complaint as well in the original order dated 31.05.2022, under the hand and signature of this Commission. The cheque date 12.11.2022 bearing No.125224 issued in favour of Shamshad S/o Jameel is hereby ordered to be cancelled for all intends and purposes and necessary entry with red ink be recorded in relevant register and a fresh account payee cheque in the sum of Rs.44,500/- only be issued in the name of Shamshad Ali S/o Jamil. Necessary correction deemed to be done in all the certified copies, if any obtained by the parties or any person from the general public.  The record of the application dated 19.12.2022 and record of the original Consumer Complaint No.22/2022 be tagged together, then consigned to the records.
