ORDER

ORDER (ORAL) This is a classic case where the possession was given to Harsh Vardhan, complainant, after a period of 18 years. The amount was charged from him in the year 1993. The possession was given after 18 years in 2010. What is the use of such like welfare schemes. It causes harassment, mental agony, sadness, anger, anguish, frustration, etc.. The amount of Rs.2,85,800/- was received in the year 1993. We see no illegality in the order passed by the fora below that interest should be granted at the rate of 18% for the delayed period on the amount of Rs.2,85,800/-. It clearly goes to show that Lucknow Development Authority is deficient in discharging of its duty. It takes such like serious matters in a happy go lucky manner. Their own rule is that they will charge interest at the rate of 18% in case of delay in payment of due amount by the allottee. They have been rightly paid back with the same coin. Revision petition is lame of strength and, therefore, it is dismissed.
