                   As per office order dated 09.12.2024 bearing Endst. No. 2038, this Bench is conducting proceedings singly, today.

                   File taken up today. Miscellaneous Application No.2055 of 2024 has been field in the registry of this Commission seeking modification/correction of order dated 21.11.2024 passed by this Commission.

                   This order will dispose of Miscellaneous Application No.2055 of 2024 filed by learned counsel for applicant-appellant, seeking prayer for correction of District Consumer Commission, Faridabad. As per text of application, District Consumer Commission is “Kaithal.” while in order dated 21.11.2024 name has been wrongly mentioned as “Faridabad” instead of District Consumer Commission “Kaithal”. This Commission is of opinion that: no notice of this Miscellaneous Application No.2055 of 2024 is required to be issued to respondent in view of this short prayer. It is settled law that record of the Commission must reflect true and correct state of affairs and error like this, can always be corrected by the court/Commission, either suo-motu, or on filing of application by any of the party. In this case, an application for correction of name of has been filed. From text of this application; an inference is flowing out that integral part of order dated 21.11.2024 will not change. Consequently, Miscellaneous Application No.2055 of 2024 stands allowed and Reader attached with this Commission, is now directed to make necessary correction by mentioning correct name of District Consumer Commission as “Kaithal.” and Reader will carry out this correction with ‘red ink’, in order dated 21.11.2024 passed by this Commission on force of this order. Miscellaneous Application No.2055 of 2024 stands disposed off accordingly.
