1.     It was alleged by the complainant that the car sold to him was having three cylinders, but, four cylinders  were mentioned in the invoice. It was told that the car was having four cylinders.

2.     Opposite parties (in short ‘Ops’) controverted his averments and stated that due to inadvertence four cylinders were mentioned in the bills. They were ready to get the number of cylinders corrected in registration certificate. So, the impugned order be set aside.

3.     Arguments heard. File perused.

4.     It is admitted by the appellant that number of cylinders were wrongly mentioned in the bills. Due to their clerical mistake complainant suffered mental harassment. For this purpose learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kaithal has awarded only Rs.15,000/- as compensation which cannot be considered on higher side. Impugned order is well reasoned based on law and facts. There is no reason to interfere with the same. Hence, the appeal is hereby dismissed in limine.

5.     Statutory amount of Rs.7500/- deposited at the time of filing the appeal be refunded to the appellant against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules, after the expiry of period of appeal and revision, if any filed in this case.
