Today, the Member/Smt.Jyotsna is on leave. File taken up on 11.2.2023 in the National Lok Adalat. Statment of Sh.Raman Kumar Sharma, Adv. Counsel for OP No.1/ Haier Appliances (India) Pvt.Ltd. recorded that the OPs No.1 is ready to make payment of Rs.33,000/- being the Invoice amount with respect to purchase of A.C. by the Complainant as a full & final settlement of the claim of Complainant, subject to return of A.C. Purchased by the Complainant to OP No.1. The OP No.1 shall make the payment of aforsaid amount simultaneously on taking back the delivery of old A.C. to the OP No.1

Further, Statement of Sh.RPS Bhogal, Adv. Counsel for Complainant recorded he has heard the statement of Counsel for OP No.1 and hereby agree to accept Rs.33,000/- as full & final settlement and the Complainant shall return the old A.C. lying with him to OP No.1.

In view of statement suffered by Counsel for the Complainant as well as Counsel for OP No.1, parties have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed with the directions to the OP No.1 to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.33,000/- being the invoice value amount with respect to purchase of A.C. by the Complainant. The Complainant is directed to return the old A.C. lying with him to OP No.1. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
