ORDER

SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN      : PRESIDENT

1. This complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite parties. The first opposite party entered appearance and filed written version denying the allegations raised by the complainant. Opposite parties 2 & 3 were called absent and set exparte. When the case came up for consideration on 04/03/2023 the complainant and first opposite party submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the case was referred for mediation to be held on today. After discussion parties to the dispute filed a memo of compromise before this commission stating that the matter is compromised. As per the compromise the first opposite party has agreed to replace 32 inch Android TV with warranty for a period of one year within 32 -45 days from today. The compromise memo filed by the parties to the proceedings is accepted and recorded. In view of the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be allowed in terms of compromise.

In the result, the complaint is allowed in terms of compromise. The compromise memo dated 25/03/2023 will form part of this order.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Commission, this the 25th day of March 2023.
