File was taken up in Lok Adalat and today in Lok Adalat Ld. counsel for the opposite party No. 1 has made the following statement:-

“Stated that the opposite party No. 1 is ready to make the payment of sum assured amount i.e.  3,00,000/-  payable under the policy only without any interest, compensation and litigation expenses to the complainant within period of 45 days from the date of receiving copy of order passed by this Court. If any amount, has already been paid by the company to the complainant, same will be deducted from the payable sum assured amount.”

          On the statement of opposite party No. 1, the complainant has made the following statement:-

“Stated that I have heard the statement given by the counsel for the opposite party No. 1 and accepted the offer made by him. I am ready to accept sum assured amount without any interest, compensation and litigation expenses. Except the above said payable amount nothing is due of complainant towards the opposite parties and I will not claim anything from the opposite parties in future except the above said amount. I do not want to pursue the present complaint further and same may be dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised.”

          In view of ibid statements the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised. The parties are directed to remain bound by their respective statements. Copy of order be supplied to the parties as per rules. File be consigned to record room.
