The parties have mutually settled the matter for an amount of Rs.2,03,000/- and the appellant has no objection if the amount of Rs.2,03,000/-, along with interest accrued thereon, deposited with this Commission be released to the respondent/complainant as full and final settlement of his claim and prays that the appeal may be disposed of accordingly.
Learned counsel for the respondent as per his statement admits that the matter has been settled for an amount of Rs.2,03,000/- and the interest accrued thereupon as full and final settlement of his claim. He further recorded the statement that he withdraws the original complaint No.358 of 2017 filed before the District Forum and prays that the amount deposited in the appeal may be released to the respondent/complainant along with interest accrued thereon.
Accordingly, the consumer complaint No.358 of 2017 titled as “Gurpreet Kaur Versus Worldwide Immigration Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.” filed by the respondent/complainant before the District Forum, Faridkot is dismissed as withdrawn.
Since, the consumer complaint No.358 of 2017 titled as “Gurpreet Kaur Versus Worldwide Immigration Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.” has been withdrawn by the complainant/respondent, therefore, this appeal is disposed of having become infructous.
The Registry is directed to release the amount of Rs.25,000/- and Rs.1,78,000/-, deposited by the appellant to the respondent/complainant, along with interest which has accrued thereon, if any, immediately.
