1. The case of the Complainant is that the Complainant purchased one Gomechanic branch tyre inflator for Rs. 1849/- with one year warranty vide order dated 20.01.2023 through Amazon. On 01.08.2023 when the tyre inflator not worked the Complainant contacted the O.P. through number 9388893888 sent mail, then through National Consumer Helpline contacted till 15.02.2024 but grievance was not redressed. Thereafter this complaint was filed.
2. The O.P. has been set ex-parte.
3. The Complainant purchased the Digital Car Tyre inflator vide invoice No. GJ-AMD-2-1391421245-2223 dated 21.01.2023 for Rs. 1849/-. From the affidavit filed it reveals that since 01.08.2023 the inflator is not working and till 15.02.2024 the O.P. not resolved the issue. Non-redressal of grievance of the Consumer amounts to deficiency in service. After receipt of mail from this Commission also the O.P. remain silent. As a manufacturer it is the duty of O.P. to provide proper service and details of service centre but the O.P. failed to do so.

Accordingly, following order is passed:

ORDER

The complaint is allowed ex-parte against the O.P. The O.P. is directed to refund Rs. 1849/- with 7 % interest within one month of this order with effect from 01.08.2023. In case of non-refund the amount will carry 12% interest P.A. till realisation. The Complainant at the time of receipt of payment has to return the inflator to the O.P. is liable to pay compensation of Rs. 10,000/- and litigation expenses of Rs. 5000/-.
