ORDERS ON MAINTAINABILITY

On perusing the complaint and on enquiring with the complaint. The complainant informed that he has booked the flight ticket to India via Singapore from Manilla(Philiphines). Hence no cause of action has taken place in India that too particularly in Bengaluru to which the jurisdiction of this forum extends. Further it is the specific case of the complainant that while booking the tickets through OP.No.1 at Manilla, he was not informed that he required get Transit VISA at Singapore to change the flight (onward journey).

In the complaint itself he has mentioned that the confirm ticket clearly states that transit visa is required for connecting International Airports inrespect of multiairlines and same to be acquired by concerned passengers.  The complainant is not a first time flyer. He is a regular visitor to foreign country and knows the rules and regulations of the countries or the airports in which he has to change over the aircrafts in respect of the transit visa. Inview of this, and as the OP has not at all taken any responsibility of providing the visa whether visa to the destination or the transit visa and also has not charged for the same in any respect we doubt as to the existence of the customer and service provider relations.  Hence the complaint is bereft of cause of action and prima facie, no deficiency of service on the part of OP and hence complaint is not maintainable on both counts. Hence COMPLAINT IS HEREBY DISMISSED.
