Complaint under section-12 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986

Now  amended  Section 34 of Consumer protection Act 2019.

ORDER:  

                        Today the case was fixed for filing evidence on behalf of the complainant.

                        Shri Pavitar Pal Singh son of Shri Harjit Singh r/o House No. 508, Phase -1, SAS Nagar, Punjab has made a statement that “I am ready to pay Rs.70,000/- to the complainant for settling the matter in lieu of the allegations imputed upon me in the present complaint and litigation charges i.e. Rs.11,000/-.  I shall be bound by the present settlement and shall not claim any right in future.”

                        Shri Eshant Arora complainant has made a statement  that “I have received payment of Rs.70,000/- and Rs.11,000/- (as litigation charges) through online IMPS dated 27.09.2022 from OP/Global Guide Visa and now I do not want to proceed with the present complaint and wants to withdraw the same being fully satisfied.  Henceforth, my  no claim survives against the opposite parties in future..

                        Keeping in view of the statement of both the parties, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off accordingly.  File be consigned to the record room
