CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 801  OF  2022

ORDER

1.   Vide his separate statement, Sh.Abhinandan Jindal, Counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OPs shall refund an amount of Rs.40,000/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Chahit Bansal, Counsel for Complainant has admitted the statement of counsel for OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed off in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.   In view of the statement of the counsel for the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed off by passing the following order:-

     (i)  OPs shall refund an amount of Rs.40,000/- to the     complainant within a period of 15 days from today i.e. 06.12.2022.

     (ii) In case the aforesaid amount is not paid by the OPs within the stipulated period, then OPs shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date     of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 14.09.2022    till its realization.

3.   The complaint is disposed off accordingly.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
