ORDER

     In compliance with the notice/order dated 15.05.2020 & 29.05.2020 of the Hon’ble State Commission,U.T. Chandigarh, case taken up through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19 & measures to control it, as per Standard Operating Procedure framed by Hon’ble State Commission.

     This complaint was filed by complainant Gurmeet Kaur against OPs Gian Sagar Educational and Charitable Trust & anr. After filing the complaint, neither complainant nor her counsel appeared on 18.03.2020. In the absence of the complainant, complaint was admitted and notice was sent to the OPs and it was reported that OP No.1 left and complainant was required to take steps for service of OP No.1. OP No.2 did not appear despite service and suffered ex-parte. Again the complainant did not appear on 27.05.2020, 05.08.2020, 05.10.2020. On previous date i.e. 11.12.2020 the complainant was not present. Thereafter, registered notice was sent to the complainant on 07.01.2021 which has not been received back served or unserved. None has put in appearance for the complainant. Despite of service of notice and repeated non appearance of the complainant suggests that she is not interested to pursue this present complaint. In view of this record, this consumer complaint is dismissed for want of prosecution.

     Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
