Hazira is filed on behalf of the petitioner Dr. Kamales Patra through Advocate by filing a petition furnishing the Bank details of the petitioner as follows –

with the prayer to return back the deposit of Rs.1,05,000/- in his favour which is lying as deposit in the Consumer Welfare Fund.

      It appears from the record that this Misc. Petition has been filed by Dr. Kamales Patra for refund of Rs.1,05,000/- deposited by Demand Draft No.198013, dated: 07-10-2013 in favour of the President, DCDRC, Bankura deposited before this Commission under Order No.52, dated: 08-10-2013 (copy enclosed) in terms of the order of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal  Commission, New Delhi dated: 11-09-2013 in connection with Revision Petition No.3021 of 2013 which was finally allowed by Order dated: 10-08-2015 setting aside the Order dated:17-05-2013 passed by this Commission in C.C. No.14/2007.

      It further appears from the record that the said Demand Draft has been deposited at Punjab National Bank, Bankura Branch in the Consumer Welfare Fund, West Bengal Account No. being 0093000100310261 and the said D.D. Amount has duly been credited to the aforesaid Account on 15-10-2013 as is evident from the Bank Statement furnished by the Punjab National Bank, Bankura Branch (copy enclosed).

The Petitioner Dr. Kamales Patra is now entitled to get refund of the said deposit of Rs.1,05,000/- with interest if any in view of the disposal of the aforesaid complaint case filed against him.

Accordingly the Director, Directorate of Consumer Affairs & Fair Business Practices, 2^nd Floor, Kreta Suraksha Bhawan, 11A Mirza Ghalib Street, Kolkata-700 087 is directed to take necessary action for disbursement of the aforesaid deposit of Rs.1,05,000/- with interest if any in favour of the Petitioner Dr. Kamales Patra to his Account mentioned above with an intimation to this Commission.

Misc. Case No. 01/2017 is accordingly disposed of.

Let a copy of this order with enclosures be handed over to the Petitioner Dr. Kamales Patra for taking up the matter with the concerned authority in this regard.
