Petitioner has filed this Review Application seeking review of order dated 19.10.11 of this Commission by which the Revision Petition No.2709 of 2011  filed by the Petitioner was dismissed by observing as under :-

“        The complaint was filed after two years and 11 months of the deposit of cheque on 03.01.08 which was clearly barred by limitation.  Contention that the limitation shall start running from the issuance of the legal notice on 29.06.09 cannot be accepted.  It cannot be accepted that the Petitioner did not come to know about the non-crediting of the cheque amount for 1½ years. Petitioner has not given any explanation regarding the delay.”

 An order can be reviewed only if there is a mistake apparent on the face of the record.  In the Review Application, Petitioner has not mentioned the date on which he acquired the knowledge about the non-crediting of the cheque amount in his account. It cannot be accepted that the Petitioner acquired the knowledge about non-crediting of the cheque amount on the date of issuance of legal notice, i.e. 29.06.09 after 1 ½ years.

We do not find any mistake apparent on the face of the record. No ground for review is made out.  Dismissed. 

Registry is directed to send a copy of this order to the Petitioner.
