Present consumer complaint has been filed against the General Manager, North East Railway, Gorakhpur alleging deficiency from the part of the OP through not giving any kind of information to complainant regarding diversion of the route of train no: 12791 Sikandrabad-Danapur Superfast Exp. for which the complainant alongwith other family member had book the ticket from Varanasi Jn. to Danapur Jn. on 19.10.2024. According to the complainant the train did not touch them and arrived at Varanasi Jn. Railway Station rather the same directly touched Din Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Jn. were the complainant pickup the train after facing which inconvenient & harrasment. Complainant has filed the present complaint for compensation of sum of Rs. 51,019/-
But from perusal of the record as well in cost of heraing from confessional statement of the complainant appeared that the complainant didnot ever approched the commercial supervisor for the compensation for his harrasment & mental agony.
Under the circumstances it is clear that the complainant has approch this commission at the premature stage of having valid couse of action for filing this complaint. Hence, the present complaint is dismiss and the complainant is directed to approach the appropriate railway authority for redressal of the grievance. And only if his grievance is not redressed by the Railway authority then file the complaint before this commission with order of the Railway authority if any.
