ORDER

     Office report seen. Heard. Be registered. The present miscellaneous application has been filed on behalf of applicant/OP No.1 for depositing the amount in compliance with the order dated 22.12.2023 passed by the Hon’ble Punjab Haryana & High Court in CWP-29072-2023 titled ‘Fiat India Automobiles Ltd. vs. Ashish Sharma and ors.’

     Vide order dated 22.12.2023 passed by the Hon’ble Punjab Haryana & High Court in CWP-29072-2023 titled ‘Fiat India Automobiles Ltd. vs. Ashish Sharma and ors., the learned counsel for the petitioner (Fiat India Automobiles Ltd.) undertook to deposit the amount as awarded by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum before the Executing Court within a period of 04 weeks. The present miscellaneous application was filed in the registry on 19.01.2024. The amount of Rs.7,54,723/-, vide draft No.451664 dated 09.01.2024 drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank in favour of the President, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission U.T. Chandigarh filed alongwith application, is ordered to be deposited in the official account of this Commission and then amount be invested in the fixed deposit receipt initially for a period of one year, to be renewed regularly. The present miscellaneous application stands disposed of accordingly and it be tagged with the main file. A copy of this order be also placed on record the execution application file, if any.
