Cosumer Forum consumer case(CC) CC/11/48 Of 2011 Mahavir Complainant Versus Fazilka Central Coop Bank Respondent For Complainant For Respondent In view of our findings recorded above, this complaint is also hereby partly allowed and it is directed that opposite party No.2 will issue a fresh memo/letter regarding loss of cheque. A certificate to this effect will also be issued by opposite party No.2. The said certificate and memo will be sent by opposite party No.2 to opposite party No.1 bank who will further send the same to the complainant alongwith their own memo/letter and a similar certificate to this effect, so that the complainant may be able to recover the amount of the cheque from its drawer. The opposite party No.2 bank is further directed to pay to the complainant a sum of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousands) as compensation for loss and harassment suffered by the complainant due to gross negligence of the opposite party No.2. Opposite party No.2 is further directed to pay to the complainant a sum of Rs. 2000/- (two thousands) as litigation expenses. 16. Orders be complied with within thirty days from the date of receipt of its copy. 17. Copy of this order be also placed on the file of complaint No.48 of 2011 and complaint No. 50 of 2011.
