It shows that the complainant has challenged the imposition of house tax alleging that low rate of house tax has been imposed on his neighbors whereas he has been charged house tax @ Rs.1221/- per year. The OPs-MC has illegally charged the house tax at very high rate from the complainant.<br /> 2. The aforesaid allegations made in the complaint show that no case of deficiency in service has been made out against the OPs-MC. The only allegation of the complainant is that he has been charged at high rate of Rs.12221/- per year while his neighbors have been charged at low rate. Hence, the remedy for the complainant is to file an appeal under the Municipal Act before the competent authority challenging the higher rate of house tax imposed upon him and this Forum has got no jurisdiction to entertain and decide this complaint. <br /> 3. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the complaint filed by the complainant can not be admitted being not maintainable. Hence, the complaint stands dismissed.
