Case was posted for Order on the objection and objection hearing on dated 18/11/2014. The petition of the Complainant to confirm the interim order is already disposed.

To-day maintainability of the complaint is to be decided.

Parties present.

Perused the documents and submission of the Parties. The Complaint was made dormant inview of a decision of the Supreme Court vide SLP (Civil) 35906/2011 (CC 20407/2011) in between U.P. Power Corporation Ltd and others Vrs Anis Ahmed, filed by the OP wherein Supreme Court later decided that consumer forums, District, State and National will not entertain cases relating to Electricity theft and collection of arrears of electricity.

Accordingly complaint stands dismissed falling under the category that is Sec 126 of Electricity Act and others cited in the above mentioned decision of the Apex Court.

Petitioner/Complainant is free to go for proper Forum for address to his problem as per the above decision and available laws of the land.

Stand disposed.
