MR. PRAVAT KUMAR PADHI, PRESIDENT  :-               

                Complainant filed C.C.Case No. 71/2022 suppressing the fact that he had approached Ld.GRF, Paradeep in GRF/KED-2/874/2022 has filed the consumer complainant U/s-35 of C.P.Act, 2019 for correction of Electric bills.

                When the issue has already been adjudicated by the Ld.GRF, the applicant is suppose to challenge the order of Ld.GRF before the Ambudsman. But suppressing the said fact he has filed the present consumer complaint before this Commission.

               As per Sec-42(5) of Electricity Act, 2003 as stipulated under as there is appropriate Forum to decide the grievance of the consumers and this Commission is not empowered to adjudicated the issue in question and as such the C.C.Case No. 71/2022 is not maintainable before this Commission and it is hereby dismissed. No order as to cost.

               Issue extract of the order to the parties for compliance.
