Case record taken up today for settlement of dispute. Both the parties are present. Heard. Peruse the material available on record.
The complainant submitted that ,she is a consumer of electricity vide consumer No.903612050480. She has been paying the electricity dues regularly. There are no any dues against her as on date. On dt.29.10.2021 when the O.Ps disconnect the electricity supply to the premises of the complainant without any fault of her, she approached this Hon’ble Commission, accordingly an order passed on dt.23.02.2022 directing the O.Ps to restore eclectic connection which is already complied by the O.Ps and there is no any grievance against the O.Ps as on date .
On the other hand the Opposite parties submitted that “ it was decided amicably under the mediator ship of Hon’ble Commission that old arrear dues pending against the premises pertaining to erstwhile owner shall be recovered from him namely Basnta Kumar Purohit vide consumer No.903612060136 and the current consumption pertaining to complainant shall be paid by her apart from “,
It is further contended that after part payment of the complainant the power was restored by the Ops and as a good will gesture no coercive action in any manner has been taken against the complainant till date. This complaint is unnecessarily rolling without any existing dispute for the time being.
In view of the admitted fact that, it is found that there is no any existing dispute between the parties as on date and the grievance of the complainant has already been settled by the Ops. Accordingly this complaint is disposed of as settled..
However, the Ops are at liberty to collect the arrear due if any form Basnta Kumar Purohit vide consumer No.903612060136 following procedure as prescribed on their own cost.
