JUDGMENT

1. The present complaint has been filed by the complainant before this commission for  the following reliefs-

1. The Op be directed to cancel the electricity bill of the month October and November,2021.
2. Compensation Rs.5000/ and litigation expenses Rs.2000/ be awarded.

Complainant has stated that he was sanctioned tube well connection 7.5 HP on 28.5.2009 and the connection was emerged  of which consumer number is PN55522113615 after some time  the connection was converted to 10HP   and OP was communicated write letter dated 18.8.2020. Complainant use to pay the electricity bill which were released as per metered supply but in month of October, 2021 electricity bill was released for Rs. 2552.88 as per 15HP and month November,2021 electricity bill Rs.2583/ as per 15 HP whereas the load of 7.5 HP was not enhanced to 10HP and the bill was raised of the load 15 HP. Complainant is ready to pay the electricity bill in accordance of 10 HP. Op has committed  deficiency in service in releasing the wrong bill.

Op submitted in WS that the tube-well connection no. 5522/113615 was found using load of 15 HP and he has pay as per 7.5 HP as per checking report 045/506 dated 18.7.2021 the bills were raised as load 15 HP and the bill from the month 10/2021 was issued as per load 15 HP. Complainant has not pay any bill after the month of 9/2021 and the outstanding bill amounting Rs.14386.81 for the month of March2022 is against the complainant. The Connection of complainant was disconnected due to the outstanding bill.
4. Complainant has filed his affidavit and papers in support of his pleadings. Op has also filed affidavit in support of its pleadings.
5. We have perused the material available on record and heard the parties counsel.
6. The first question of consideration before us is whether the complainant is entitled to the relief claimed?
7. It is clear from the pleading of the parties that the electricity bill of the tube- well of the month Oct2021 and Nov21 were raised at Rs. 2552.88 and Rs. 2583 respectively. The electricity bills were raised against the electric energy consumed by the tubewell of 15HP. There is no irregularity or illegality in raising the bills. There is no sufficient ground to grant any relief to the complainant.      
8. The question formulated above against the complaint.
9. We hereby dismiss the complaint.
10. A copy of this judgment be provided to all the parties as per rule as mandated by Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The judgment be uploaded forthwith on the website of the commission for the perusal of the parties.
11. File be consigned to record room along with a copy of this judgment.
