Case record is put up today for order. On Perusal of the case record we find that complainant Mewalal Honhaga of this case has files grievance in prescribed format against the O.P mentioning there in that

wrong meter has been installed in the name of wrong person and for realization of bill he is being threatened by the O.P and in this regard employee of the O.P has released Rs.30,000/- from him and despite complainant his grievance has not been settled the he has files this case before the forum  for an award of Rs.3,30,000/- including compensation towards mental and physical harassment.

After notice O.P assistant electrical engineer has sent a letter mentioning that actually  electric meter was installed at the house of complainant but his name has been wrongly mentioned and due to this mistake. Further that after correcting the name bill has also been corrected and complainant has paid the actual bill after correction. This fact has been again mentioned by the above engineer vide letter dated 11.04.22 and prayer has been made for disposed of the case on the basis of above facts and circumstances. After that complainant has appeared for this case and filed a petition for filing rejoinder against the above mentioned letter of O.P and he has admitted before the court that he is regularly using the electricity installed in his house. Since Adjournment has been given to the compliant for filing rejoinder of above letter which has not been done on behalf of the complainant. Further complainant is admitted that he is using electricity in his house. So we do not find any reason to disbelieve the letters sent by the O.P. So keeping in view the letters sent by O.P in this case we do not proper to proceed further in this case.

Rather instant case is disposed of in the light of the letter dated 04.11.20 and 11.04.22 sent by the O.P office to consign the record in record room.
