1. This complaint is filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party. After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite party. At the initial stage, the notice issued to the opposite party was not seen returned. Hence complainant was directed to take steps against the opposite party. Subsequently, on 05/08/2022 notice was issued to the opposite party and the same was delivered to the opposite party on 31/08/2022. When the case came up for consideration today, the complainant was present and submitted that the matter is amicably settled between the parties to the proceedings and further stated that the complainant is not interested to further proceed with this complaint. A memo was also filed by the complainant to that effect. The memo of settlement filed by the complainant was accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.

              In the result, complaint is dismissed as settled. There will be no order as to costs.

                A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
