ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:
JUDGMENT
Matter relates to Sec.135 of I.E. Act, 2003 and as per the settled principles of law as decided by the Hon’ble Apex Court in the case of U.P. Transmission Corporation Vrs. Md. Anis Ahmed, Consumer Commission has no power to adjudicate the issue.
But as agreed by both parties we direct that opposite parties shall deduct 40% of the bill as on date and complainant shall pay 50% of the bill within 15 days from the date of receipt of order or 30 days from the date of passing of the order and rest amount to be paid in 2 installments within 3 months thereafter and during the said period the regular bill shall also be paid. With the aforesaid observation and direction consumer complaint is disposed of. No cost.
