ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:

                                                                                         JUDGMENT

            Complainant has filed the consumer complaint U/s.35 of C.P. Act seeking for supply of electricity to the Plot of complainant i.e. Khata No.525/978, Plot No.1376/2258 area A0.01 dec. 350 Sqr. Kadi of Mouza Deuligrameswar.

            Opposite parties have entered appearance and objected the prayer on the ground that the money has been deposited in Govt. portal by the wife and electricity cannot be supplied to the wife unless certain requirements fulfilled by the wife and did not object for supplying the electricity but subject to certain conditions to be fulfilled and the counsel for complainant and opposite parties both agreed to settle the dispute on the terms and condition that the complainant shall deposit the required fees in his name and the opposite parties shall provide the new connection within 5 days after receipt of the fees from Govt. portal. Since both parties agrees for settlement we are not entering into other aspect of the consumer complaint and accordingly the consumer complaint is disposed of directing the opposite parties to provide new connection within 5 days from today. Counsel for complainant also submitted that the complainant has already deposited the required fees and filed the receipt, which is kept on record. If the opposite parties fails to provide new connection to complainant on or before 23.9.2024 then opposite parties shall pay Rs.100/- per day to complainant after 23.9.2024 i.e. from 24.9.2024. With the aforesaid observation and direction the consumer complaint and I.A. No.119/2024 is disposed of. No cost.
