O R D E R

          Balraj Singh-Complainant has filed the instant appeal on March 01st, 2016 against the order dated February 01st, 2016 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Narnaul, whereby complaint was allowed. For ready reference, operative part of the order is reproduced as under:

“To pay Rs.5,00,000/- (five lacs) to the complainant alongwith interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of filing of the complaint till realization.

To pay Rs.2200/- as litigation charges to the complainant.”

The case was listed for March 31st, 2016. On that date, none appeared on behalf of the appellant and the case was adjourned to May 16th, 2016. On May 16th, 2016 again none appeared on behalf of the appellant, case was adjourned to June 06th, 2016. On June 06th, 2016 the case was adjourned to July 14th, 2016 on the written request of learned counsel for the appellant. On July 14th, 2016, September 27th, 2016 and December 15th, 2016 adjournments were sought by the learned counsel for the appellant. Today case called several times since morning. But none has appeared on behalf of the appellant. Perusal of record shows that the appellant is not interested in pursuing this appeal. This being so, the appeal is dismissed in default.
