In view of the discussion, we find that the Lr. District Forum was not at all right in ordering the refund of money paid by the complainant for the purchase of the furniture and for ordering payment of compensation and costs. We therefore allow the appeal and set aside the impugned order. Nevertheless, we direct the OP to attend to the fungus problem, as undertaken by the OP, by treating the furniture with required chemicals and then waz polishinh the same, in case the complainant so desires, as according to the complainant, treating the furniture with chemicals will not be good for health.

Order accordingly.
