This is a petition filed under section 15 of C.P.Act,1986, praying this Commission to allow the appeal and set aside the impugned order dated 24.03.2016 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum. Medak at Sangareddy in C.C.No.24 of 2014.
The Complainant/Appellant is present along with his counsel on record. Proof of publication of the Respondent filed. However, there is no representation for the Respondent. The learned counsel appearing for the Appellant along with Appellant submitted and filed a memo to that effect that subsequent to the publication of notice in the newspaper, the Respondent/Opposite Party approached the Complainant and settled the dispute amicably.
In that view of the matter, they represent that they do not intend to proceed the matter further.
Hence, the appeal is dismissed as not pressed.
