Final Order / Judgement

HON’BLE MR.JUSTICE ISHAN CHANDRA DAS,PRESIDENT

          In the instant application being IA/201/2020 in C.C.383 of 2019 , the applicant being the Opposite Party of C.C.383 of 2019 prayed for an order of suspension of the proceeding in view of the order passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 20.1.2020 in Appeal No. (s) 10856 of 2016 Bhupinder Singh –Vs-UNITECH LTD., where the Hon’ble Court passed the following order stated below –

“Pending further orders of this Court, there shall be a moratorium against the institution of proceedings against Unitech Limited and its subsidiaries. The moratorium shall also extend to existing proceedings against the company as well as the enforcement of orders that may have been passed against the company.”

                   In view of the said order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the prayer of the present applicant is allowed and the present proceeding being CC/383/2019 remains suspended.

                        The IA/201/2020 and CC/383/2019 are thus  disposed of.
