On 08.05.2015 counsel for appellant appeared and sought time. On the same day on the assurance of appellant’s counsel that he will complete the construction within three months, directions of the District Forum regarding payment of compensation were stayed. On 12.06.2015 stay granted on 08.05.2015 ordered to be continued subject to condition that on the next date of hearing counsel for appellant may submit status report regarding present status of the house in question in the presence of two independent witnesses along with coloured digital photo showing date and time. hearing i.e. 20.07.2015, counsel for appellant again sought time to comply the earlier order and also not paid the Process Fee for notice to respondent. Time was granted subject to payment of cost of Rs.200/- to be deposited in Consumer Bar Association Legal Aid Fund Account.
However, none is present today. Receipt regarding payment of cost has also not yet been filed on record. This clearly indicates that the appellant is not interested in pursuing this appeal and in complying orders of this Commission. The appeal is therefore dismissed for want of prosecution.
