We allow the appeal and set aside impugned order and dismiss the complaint filed by Complainant. The Complainant to pay a sum of Rs. 1000/- as costs of this appeal to the Consumer Welfare Fund within a period of 30 days, and, in case it is not paid the same shall be recovered from the complainant as per the procedure provided by C.P. Act, 1986.

We may observe that Complainant’s second MediPrime policy has now been cancelled by the Appellant- second Company by letter dated 06/06/14 without giving any reasons. However, the reasons for cancellation would not be very difficult to be found. We leave it at that. We have already observed that the complainant has chosen not to assail the said letter dated 5/6/14 of cancellation of policy by amending the complaint. The complainant may challenge the same, if he so desires, at his own risk as to costs and consequences.

Appeal allowed. Complaint dismissed.
