Against the order dated 29.08.2012 passed in CC.No.296/2010 by the District Consumer Forum-I, Hyderabad, the opposite party therein has approached this Commission and filed this appeal, i.e. FA.No.599/2013.  During the pendency of this appeal, it appears that the parties have amicably settled their dispute and in that regard a joint memo is filed by both parties stating that the matter is settled out of court.  In the light of the said submission, the court looked into the Joint memo signed by the parties as well as their respective counsels.

The complainant/respondent herein is present.  When he was questioned, he, in unequivocal terms stated that he got the matter settled out of court and  he received an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- by way of three cheques  viz. cheque bearing No.166044 dt.24.01.2014 for Rs.50,000/-, cheque bearing No.166030  dt.03.02.2014 for Rs.50,000/-, cheque bearing No.166045 dt.24.01.2014 for Rs.50,000/- towards full and final settlement of the award passed by the District Forum-I, Hyderabad.

In those circumstances, this matter is closed as settled out of court.
