ORDER

SRI.VIJU.V.R: MEMBER

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties.  When the case came up for consideration on 31/10/2022, both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to the settlement talk scheduled to be held on 12/11/2022.  On 12/11/2022 both the parties filed a compromise memo the matter is settled for Rs.20,500/- the complainant has acknowledged the receipt of DD for Rs.20,500/- from the 2nd opposite party.  As per the terms of the compromise the complainant has handed over the subject matter of mobile phone to the 2nd opposite party.  The compromise memo signed and filed by both parties are accepted and recorded.  In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be disposed as settled.

In the result the complaint is disposed of as settled.  There will be no order as to cost.            

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
