CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 621 of 2018

  1. DLF Homes Panchkula Ltd., SCO 190-191-192, Sector-8C, Chandigarh, UT-160009 through its Manager/authorised signatory/officer-in-charge/Director Sales & Marketing.
  2. DLF Homes Panchkula Pvt. Ltd., Regd. Office DLF Gateway Tower, Second Floor, DLF City, Phase-III, Gurgaon-122002, Haryana, India, through its Manager/ authorised signatory/officer-in-charge/Director Sales & Marketing.

                                                ORDER

NARESH KATYAL, JUDICIAL MEMBER:

          This complaint has been received by way of assignment dated 27.10.2023 of Hon’ble Principle Bench. It came up for hearing today before this Bench. Sh. Naveen Sheokand, Advocate has appeared on behalf of complainant and suffered following statement on oath:-

“Stated that: grievance of complainant, as involved in this complaint has been fully redressed, with opposite parties. Deed of settlement dated 28.10.2023 has been scribed, which is being placed on record and same bears signature of Kanta Tomar-complainant, as well as, signature of authorised signatory of M/s DLF Homes Panchkula Pvt. Ltd. As per this deed of settlement; opposite parties have settled the claim of complainant at Rs.5,74,890/- at the rate of 6% interest per annum.  I have instructions on behalf of complainant to withdraw this complaint in view of deed of settlement.”

 

2.      As flowing consequence, in the light of above statement of learned counsel for complainant, this complaint is hereby dismissed as withdrawn; matter involved in this complaint having being compromised between parties to this lis. It is ordered accordingly.

3.      A copy of this order be provided to both parties, free of cost, as mandated by the Consumer Protection Act, 1986/2019. This order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties. Complaint file be consigned.
