                                                                                    Complaint case No.352/2017.

 

Balak Nath Vs. Distt. Social Welfare Officer.

 

Present:        None for the complainant.   

                         

                        Today, the case is fixed for consideration on the point of maintainability.  The complainant was asked to establish that how he is a consumer.  The present case was firstly put-up before this Forum on 11.09.2017 and then, it was adjourned to 13.09.2017, 18.09.2017, 25.09.2017 and 29.09.2017 for the same cause.  However, today neither the complainant nor any one on behalf of complainant appeared.  Complaint perused.  From the perusal of complaint, it has been found that the complainant has claimed a compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- under the scheme “Rajiv Gandhi Parivar Jeevan Beema Yojna” alongwith interest from the Ops.  It has nowhere been established and even pleaded in the complaint that the complainant is a consumer.

                        Having gone through the contents of the complaint, this Forum is of the considered view that the complainant is not a consumer.  Hence, the present complaint is hereby dismissed.  No order as to costs.  File be consigned to record-room after due compliance.
