Final Order / Judgement

          Settlement has been effected between the parties as per settlement deed dated 04.11.2024, copy of the same is placed on record and in lieu of the settlement, counsel for the Opposite Parties no.1 & 2 has made a following statement before this Commission:-

          “Stated that the matter has already been settled, as per the settlement deed dated 04.11.2024 duly signed by the attorney of the complainant and copy of the same is placed on record. As per said settlement deed, the  company i.e. Opposite Parties No.1 & 2 are ready to return the premium amount of Rs.20 lakhs in total as full and final settlement of the present complaint within a period of 15 days to be directly transferred in the account of complainant Mohla Singh, subject to supply of documents i.e. copy of bank passbook, copy of cancelled cheque and aadhar card of complainant.”

          On the other hand, Sh.Jaspal Singh, Attorney of the complainant has made a following statement:-

          “Stated that I have heard the statement of ld. counsel for the Opposite Parties No.1  & 2 and agree with the same and withdraw the present complaint as per the settlement deed dated 04.11.2024, subject to supply of requisite documents by me on behalf of complainant. However I reserve my right to file fresh complaint on the same cause of action, in case, Opposite Parties No.1 & 2 failed to transfer the amount of premium as per the settlement deed.”

          In view of the statement made by ld. counsel for the complainant, the present complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to record room.
