ORDER

BY PRESIDENT THIRU. G.VINOBHA, M.A.,B.L.,

          This complaint is filed by the complainant u/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act.1986.

          The complainant filed this complaint  against the opposite party be refunded the deposited amount of Rs.15,000/- together will interest at 15.50 P.C. till the date of maturity i.e. 21-05-2003 and thereafter at Rs.24% per annum till the amount is paid and to pay the actual bank charges of Rs.55/- charged by the complainants bankers in respect of the cheque No.543238 dated:10-04-2003 issued by the opposite party to the complainant and to pay compensation amount of  Rs.5000/- for the mental agony suffered by the complainant and others losses put to him by way of travel expenses due to the opposite party’s negligence and deficiency in service.

          Complainant  and opposite party absent.  No representation. Notice sent to complainant already.  Returned as deceased.  No steps taken for filing L.R. petition.  Hence, complaint is dismissed for default.
