The applicant who has filed Consumer Complaint No.95 of 2020 titled ‘Nardev Singh Vs. DHBVNL and Others’ at District Consumer Commission, Narnaul has filed the instant transfer application seeking transfer of his complaint from Narnaul to learned District Consumer Commission of an adjoining District.
2. According to the applicant, the complaint filed by him is at the stage of recording evidence of the opposite parties as he himself has already led his evidence. The learned District Consumer Commission, Narnaul is not taking up the matter as the quorum there is not complete.
3. Though the quorum of the learned District Consumer Commission, Narnaul was not complete earlier yet in view of the notification issued by the Haryana Government Shri Viraj Pahil, Member, District Consumer Commission, Rewari has been given additional posting at Narnaul. As such, the quorum is now complete at Narnaul and the complaint preferred by the applicant can proceed.
4. In view of the above, the application preferred by the applicant has been rendered infructuous and, accordingly, disposed of. However, the learned District Consumer Commission, Narnaul before whom the complaint is presently pending shall proceed with the complaint on 23.12.2020 or after adjourning the matter to any working Monday or Tuesday and requiring the opposite parties to lead their evidence and thereafter to decide the matter on merits expeditiously.
