ORDER

Sh.Dharmbir Singh, SDO on behalf of Ops/Nigam tendered a statement before the Commission, which is as under:

“Stated that the Nigam is ready to refund the deposited security amount of Rs.47209/- to the complainant within a period of 60 days on providing of application as well as account number”

                  Learned counsel for the complainant also made a statement which is as under:      

“Stated that keeping in view the statement made by SDO of the Nigam I do not want to proceed further with the present complaint and withdraw the same”.

                        In view of the statements so tendered by both the parties, the present complaint is disposed off with a direction to the Ops/Nigam to refund a sum of Rs.47209/- to the complainant within 45 days from today, failing which Ops/Nigam shall be liable to pay interest at the rate of 9 % per annum for the period of default subject to submitting of an application alongwith account number within a period of 15 days by the complainant. Accordingly, the present complaint stands disposed off. Both the parties shall remain bound by their respective statements. Copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
