O R D E R

First Appeal No.1552 of 2017 titled ‘Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited and another Versus Dhanvinder Singh and another’ was disposed of by this Commission vide order dated 21st August, 2018. By order of this Commission, the impugned order of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kurukshetra (District Forum) was modified to the extent that the Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited-appellants (Insurance Company) would pay Rs.6,25,000/- instead of Rs.8,73,589/- to the complainant. It was also ordered that statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited by Insurance Company be refunded to the complainant.
2. By filing this application, Insurance Company has prayed that the statutory amount be refunded to it because the amount of Rs.6,25,000/- has been paid to the complainant.
3. This being so, the amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited, be refunded to applicants against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules.
4. Disposed of accordingly.
